Fantastic Dr. Andrew Weil Cookware

Dr. Andrew Weil's Healthy Kitchen line makes it easier to eat healthy in a small kitchen. Weil's Multi-Function Rice Cooker cooks rice, of course, and other healthy grains. It also works to steam vegetables and make beans. Weil believes that food should not come in contact with the aluminum used in the cores of some cookware. That's why his Healthy Kitchen line has pour spouts that prevent food from coming in contact with aluminum.

You do use nonstick pots and pans, keep the heat at low or medium, and never let a pan sit empty on a hot stove. Or choose cast-iron, enamel-coated iron, or steel versions instead. Integrative doc Andrew Weil also gives his seal of approval to copper and aluminum-clad pots and pans, as long as they have stainless-steel interior surfaces.

Dr. Andrew Weil Tri-Ply Stainless cookware combines the beauty of surgical quality stainless steel with the superior performance of aluminum. Interior and exterior layers of high quality stainless steel surround an inner core of highly conductive, heavy gauge aluminum. The aluminum core spreads heat evenly, and responds to temperature changes quickly. The softly brushed, stainless interior provides clear visual clues when cooking and naturally masks signs of wear.

Dr. Andrew Weil's the ergonomic Cool V handle design provides superior balance and feel, and vents heat away from long handles, keeping them touchably cool on the stove top. Domed, tempered glass covers let you monitor cooking at a glance, and they recirculate moisture and nutrients back into food. Dishwasher safe. Features Tri Ply A virtually pure, thick Aluminum core is sandwiched between two layers Surgical Quality Stainless Steel Polished Stainless Steel Interior Finish Flared Rims enable easy pouring Domed, Tempered glass lids return moisture to the food as it cooks Ergonomically designed "Cool V" handles stay touchably cool on stovetop Triple Riveted Handles provide added durability. Fornasetti's Designed Plates

One of Adrian's favourite designers is Piero Fornasetti, the Italian designer famous for his mysterious and quirky pieces. Fornasetti lived and worked in Milan all his life and was one of the most prolific decorative artists of the 20th century. He was a painter, sculptor, decorator and engraver. His style was one based on illusion, architectural perspectives, and a number of themes such as the sun, playing cards, fish and flowers, from which he made seemingly endless variations.

Born in Milan in 1913, Fornasetti grew up under the influence of functionalist restraint but, by looking at his work, it's obvious it didn't restrain him. His fruitful imagination created a dream-like magical world, and he applied his decorative vocabulary to an astonishing array of objects - ashtrays, chairs, plates, cabinets and dining tables were all transformed by the application of unexpected images.

Fornasetti rebelled against the concept of numbering, dating and signing his work. He was so sure that his style was unmistakable that he was indifferent to these significant marks that collectors use as proof of date and identity. After his death, his son Barnaba began to distinguish the re-editions from the original classics with the Fornasetti stamp.

The plates are black and white, though we have seen a black on gilt version of the companion "Adam" set. On the back of each plate it says "Fornasetti-milano Made in Italy" [in English] and shows a picture of a hand holding a brush; in the center there is a fig leaf, and a number from 1 to 12; at the top an arrow pierces a sign that says "Alto Haut Top"; and underneath the glaze the center is marked with the brand of a German porcelain manufacturer in an oval, under which "4 Germany 4" is printed. In addition to the specific answers of provenance and price, we'd like the information and sources used to determine them. Please purchase on online http://www.etabletop.com/

Color Gift Glasses of Artel

Artel creates that favorite of Central European nobles for the past several hundred years, Bohemian crystal. Updated designs by the young American entrepreneur Karen Feldman turn out unusual vases, glasses, and tumblers that are regularly stocked by aspirational retailers such as Paul Smith, Fortnum & Mason, and Scully & Scully. Although plans are in the works for Artel's own Prague store to open in 2007, the current collection is available to view at the Vinohradska location in Vinohrady by appointment only.

Wiseman has now teamed up with famed glass designer and manufacturer artel to create the glacier collection a series of cut glass vessels that experiment with faceting and different textures. each piece is handcut by artel’s czech artisans and contrasts smooth polished surfaces with rougher faceted edges. you can click here to find out more about Artel and you can find more on wiseman right here.

Clean lines of the opalescent crystal decanter set are inspired by a playful beehive figure. The traditional Czech design is realized by master craftsmen in Prague, resulting in a whimsical way to attain maximum satisfaction from your liqueurs and spirits. Piece consists of three layers of glass which are blown together and then cut and polished by hand into18 facets, making for deep hues that vary according to the angle of viewing. The faceted bowl and plate mark a departure for Artel, which until now has specialized in glassware engraved by hand. Please purchase on online http://www.etabletop.com/
